A buyer types “rhinestone trim” into a search box. Behind that phrase sit at least four LOCA product lines that could plausibly answer it: a backless adhesive trim, a fabric-backed rope trim, a flat sheet of stones, or a die-cut patch. None is wrong. All are different products with different prices, lead times, and applications.

Three market words for the same thing: faceted glass stones that catch light. In a quote, treat them as synonymous unless the buyer explicitly says “Swarovski crystal” or “Preciosa crystal” (which point to specific brand suppliers).

Hot-fix rhinestone · specifying it correctly
A hot-fix stone ships ready to press — adhesive already on the back.
Hot-fix rhinestone is a stone material in its own right — sourced with hot-melt adhesive already bonded to the back as part of the product spec. It’s typically flat-back, so “平底烫钻” (flat-back hot-fix) is a common explicit form. Distinct from a plain flat-back rhinestone (#2), which needs a separate adhesive step on the buyer’s line. At quote time, specifying “hot-fix” tells LOCA: use the pre-adhered stone, not the raw flat-back + a separate hot-melt step.

PVC Strip is the only product line that doesn’t draw from this library — its extruded PVC body is its own structural system. Everything else (Crystal Mesh, Diamond Rope, Diamond Lace, Bangle Diamond Sticker, Diamond Flower, Shoe Patch, Shoe Upper) can mix any subset of these 12 elements per order.

Format words are where most quoting confusion happens. A factory needs to know not just the product but how it’s being delivered, because cut format affects price-per-unit, lead time, and minimum order quantity.

A quoting shortcut
Product name + format word + quantity in the right unit.
If your first message includes the LOCA product name (or a clear alias), the format word, and the quantity in the unit that format uses (sheets / metres / strips / pieces / pairs), the supplier can usually quote same-day instead of going through three rounds of clarifying questions.

Application words describe how a rhinestone product gets attached to whatever it’s decorating. Same product can sometimes carry different application backings (hot-melt vs 513 double-sided), so this is worth being explicit about.
应用词描述的是水钻产品怎么贴到被装饰物上。同一产品有时可以选不同背面方式（热熔胶 / 513 双面胶）· 所以这一项值得明确。
