Diamond Patch is one of LOCACRYSTAL's main product lines — a die-cut, backless rhinestone motif patch built on a simple two-part structure: decorative elements on top, and a flexible adhesive base on the bottom. There is no woven fabric behind the patch; the adhesive film is the whole carrier, and the patch arrives already cut to its motif shape.
The base can be specified as hot-melt (heat-activated) or 513 double-sided sticker (peel-and-stick). Patch shapes are die-cut to florals, geometric patterns or customer-supplied artwork, with motif sizes from 2 cm accents to 20 cm full-vamp coverage and stones from SS2.5 to SS12. All materials are AAA-grade, sourced from leading domestic Chinese suppliers. Diamond Patch shares this flexible-adhesive-base structure with our Crystal Mesh and Diamond Lace lines — it is the die-cut, motif-shaped form of that family.

Diamond Patch is the same as Crystal Mesh or Diamond Lace.
They are the same family, different form factors. Crystal Mesh ships as a flat sheet and Diamond Lace as a continuous trim strip — both are cut to size by the buyer. Diamond Patch is already die-cut to motif shape, so a shoe factory heat-presses or sticks it directly onto a vamp with no in-house cutting step.
They are not. Hot-melt needs heat — a Hot Fix machine, heat-press or industrial press — to activate. 513 double-sided is a peel-and-stick film applied at room temperature. Both are specified separately per order.
Every Diamond Patch is built on a simple two-part structure — decorative elements set across the motif on top, a flexible adhesive base on the bottom. The base comes in one of two types, set at order time, and it determines how the shoe factory applies the patch.

How to choose
Choose hot-melt when the line runs a Hot Fix machine or press, the shoe material tolerates heat, and the bond must survive wear and flexing.
Choose 513 double-sided when heat is not available, the shoe material is heat-sensitive, or the application is manual / craft / low-volume.

The hot-melt base bonds across four shoe-material families. The bond strength depends on getting heat, time and pressure right for each — and on testing the exact material before bulk.

Shoe materials vary widely — the same hot-melt patch bonds perfectly on canvas and can need more heat on a PVC boot. Run a bond test on the exact upper the bulk order will use, within the 130–150°C / 10–20 s window, before releasing the PO to production.

Hot-fix · 烫钻特殊性
Hot-fix is a stand-alone stone material, not a process.
A common misread treats "hot-fix" as a backing option. It is not. Hot-fix (烫钻) is a stone material that ships with thermal adhesive already bonded to the back — normally flat-back. Flat-back rhinestone (A2) is bare; hot-fix (A3) is glue-ready. Different SKUs, different production lines.
Diamond Patch production stays inside the Pujiang factory end to end — pattern design, stone selection, element composition, base lamination and die-cutting are all in-house. The cutting and lamination a shoe factory would otherwise do is done for them here.
