A slim rhinestone trim set directly onto a 0.5 mm adhesive film, with no woven backing. Light, low-profile, and bondable to a wider range of base materials than any fabric-backed trim.
Diamond Lace is one of LOCACRYSTAL's main product lines — rhinestones (or any of twelve elements) bonded directly onto a 0.5 mm flexible adhesive base. There is no woven fabric behind the stones; the adhesive film is the whole carrier. That is what keeps the trim thin and lets it bond to substrates a fabric-backed trim cannot.
The base can be specified as hot-melt (heat-activated) or 513 self-adhesive (peel-and-stick), in 2, 3, 4 or 5 row widths. All materials are AAA-grade, sourced from leading domestic Chinese suppliers. Diamond Lace shares this flexible-adhesive-base structure with our Crystal Mesh and Diamond Patch lines.
They are different lines. Diamond Lace is backless — stones on a 0.5 mm adhesive film, applied by hot-fix or peel-and-stick. Diamond Rope has a fabric back and an inner core, and is sewn down. Lace is stuck or pressed; rope is stitched.
They are not. Hot-melt needs heat — an iron or heat-press — to activate. 513 is a peel-and-stick pressure-sensitive film applied at room temperature. Both are 0.5 mm, but they are specified separately per order.
The opposite. Because there is no woven backing competing with the substrate, Diamond Lace bonds across five substrate families — fabric, leather, plastic, TPU and acrylic. The broad compatibility is the line's main selling point (see page 06).

Every Diamond Lace strip sits on a 0.5 mm flexible adhesive base in one of two types. The choice is set at order time, and it determines how the buyer applies the trim downstream.
A heat-activated film. Bonds permanently into fabric, leather, PU, TPU and most synthetic substrates under an iron or heat-press. The choice where the bond must survive washing or wear.加热激活的胶膜。用熨斗或热压机永久粘合到布料、皮料、PU、TPU 等大多数合成材质。适合需要经受水洗或穿用的场景。
513 self-adhesive513 自粘底
A pressure-sensitive backing with a release liner. Peel and press at room temperature. Used where heat would damage the carrier — finished accessories, leather pieces, manual hand-application.压敏背胶 + 离型纸。室温下撕揭即贴。用于不能加热的载体 —— 成品配件、皮料、纯手工应用。
How to choose
Choose hot-melt when the buyer has an iron or heat-press, the carrier tolerates heat, and the bond must survive washing or industrial finishing.
Choose 513 when heat is not available, the carrier is heat-sensitive (finished leather, PU, plastic accessories), or the application is manual / craft / low-volume.

Hot-melt and 513 share the same Diamond Lace SKU, separated only by the base field. A missing or ambiguous base stops the production line. Name it on every PO.

On the same 0.5 mm adhesive base, row count sets the width and the visual weight. Four standard counts cover most placements; rows or width can be specified to a design.
Because there is no woven backing, Diamond Lace bonds across five substrate families. Buyers who switch base materials between seasons do not switch trim suppliers — the same Diamond Lace handles the new substrate.
Cotton, denim, knits, stretch, lace, bridal. Hot-melt for wash-durable bonds.棉、牛仔、针织、弹力布、蕾丝、婚纱。需耐水洗用热熔胶。
Leather皮料
Genuine and synthetic leather. 513 self-adhesive where heat would mark the surface.真皮与合成革。表面怕热的用 513 自粘。

Test on the exact substrate before bulk.
Substrates vary widely — the same hot-melt lace bonds perfectly on cotton and can fail on a PU-coated surface. Run a bond test on the exact carrier the bulk order will use before releasing the PO to production.

Hot-fix · 烫钻特殊性
Hot-fix is a stand-alone stone material, not a process.
A common misread treats "hot-fix" as a backing option. It is not. Hot-fix (烫钻) is a stone material that ships with thermal adhesive already bonded to the back — normally flat-back. Flat-back rhinestone (A2) is bare; hot-fix (A3) is glue-ready. Different SKUs, different production lines.
Diamond Lace production stays inside the Pujiang factory end to end — stone selection, pattern, alignment, lamination and slitting are all in-house.

The material is slit to the ordered row count, checked to the same protocol, then coiled and bagged.按下单排数刀切，按同一套标准检验，再盘绕装袋。

Diamond Lace shares its flexible-adhesive-base structure with Crystal Mesh and Diamond Patch — the same in-house base engineering, slit narrow into trim instead of supplied as a sheet or patch.

Diamond Lace ships ready to apply. Three storage habits keep the adhesive base and the stone face in the condition they left the factory in.
水钻胶条出厂即可贴。三个储存习惯能让胶膜和钻面保持出厂状态。
Storage
Temperature: 15–28°C. Above 35°C, hot-melt base softens — coils can stick to themselves.
Wipe the substrate clean and dry before bonding — dust and oil prevent full adhesion.
For hot-melt, verify press temperature on the exact carrier first; for 513, apply within the same day the liner is removed.
Do not stretch the strip while applying — keep it flat to the surface.
贴合前把基材擦干净擦干 —— 灰尘和油渍会直接影响粘合。
热熔款先在大货载体上验证热压温度；513 款离型纸撕开后当天用完。

End-consumer care
Wash inside-out, cold water, on a delicate cycle. Avoid dryers.
Do not iron directly on the rhinestone face.
Store finished pieces flat or loosely rolled to avoid creasing the strip.
反面冷水洗、轻柔模式，避免烘干。

The strip lifts at the edge after application.
贴后边缘翘起
Cause: substrate not clean/dry, or the strip was stretched while applying.
根因：基材没擦干净/干燥，或贴合时拉伸了条带。
Fix: wipe substrate clean and dry; apply flat without tension; for curved surfaces, press the edge down firmly.
处理：基材擦净擦干；平贴不拉伸；弧面把边缘压实。
Hot-fix base does not bond.
热熔款贴不牢
Cause: insufficient temperature/time/pressure, or the carrier is not heat-bondable.
根因：温度/时间/压力不足，或载体不耐热压。
Fix: verify press parameters on the actual carrier; if it still fails, switch to the 513 base.
处理：在大货载体上验证热压参数；仍失败则改用 513 基底。
513 backing loses tack at edges.
513 边缘失粘
Cause: high-humidity storage, or the release liner was re-applied unevenly.
根因：高湿度储存，或离型纸重贴不齐。
Fix: store sealed below 60% RH; once the liner is removed, apply within the same day.
处理：密封储存于 60% RH 以下；离型纸撕开后当天用完。
Colour variation between rolls.
不同卷之间颜色不一致
Cause: stones drawn from different production batches.
根因：不同生产批次的钻混入同一订单。
Fix: on reorders, specify "same batch as previous PO" in writing; on new orders, request a colour-cluster confirmation sample.
处理：复购时书面注明"沿用上批次"；新单先要颜色一致性样品确认。
Steel bead elements darken in storage.
电镀钢珠在储存中变暗
Cause: silver plating oxidises under air, moisture or UV.
根因：银电镀在空气、湿气、UV 下氧化。
Fix: store in sealed mylar with desiccant; for long shelf-life, specify gold or gunmetal plating.
处理：密封 mylar 袋 + 干燥剂；长期储存改指定金或枪色电镀。
Width looks different from the sample.
大货宽度看起来与样品不同
Cause: sample and bulk PO did not specify the same row count.
根因：样品和大货 PO 上的排数不一致。
Fix: always reference row count and base type on every PO. "3-row · hot-melt" is unambiguous; "rhinestone trim" alone is not.
处理：每张 PO 必须写排数和基底。"3 排 · 热熔"无歧义；只写"水钻条"不够。
