PVC Strip is one of LOCACRYSTAL's main product lines — a footwear decoration strip extruded from AAA-grade PVC compound into a continuous glossy shape. It carries no rhinestones. Where the Diamond Rope and Diamond Lace lines decorate with crystal, PVC Strip decorates with luminous PVC: transparent, clear, iridescent, solid-coloured or multi-tone.
It is a different material family from LOCACRYSTAL's seven rhinestone-mesh lines, and it runs on its own extrusion equipment — separate from rhinestone production. Standard row counts are 1, 4, 10 and 14. All PVC compound is AAA-grade, sourced from leading domestic Chinese suppliers, with strong gloss and stable colour, easy for shoe factories to stitch onto sandal straps and shoe vamps.

It is not. PVC Strip contains no rhinestones — it is extruded PVC, a different material family from LOCACRYSTAL's seven rhinestone-mesh lines. It is the line for shoe categories that want plastic-shine instead of crystal sparkle.
No. PVC Strip is produced on independent extrusion lines, separate equipment from rhinestone production. PVC capacity does not compete with rhinestone capacity — PVC orders never bottleneck rhinestone orders, and vice versa.
It is not. PVC Strip is sewn on / stitched — stitched onto sandal straps and shoe vamps. There is no adhesive base; the strip is fixed by stitching the way a shoe factory already handles trims.

Independent lines独立产线

Screen colour and printed swatches do not reproduce PVC gloss and transparency reliably. Request a physical colour sample and confirm it against your shoe before releasing the PO to production.

PVC Strip ships coiled on spools, ready to stitch. A few storage habits keep the gloss, colour and shape of the extruded strip in the condition it left the factory in.

Storage
Temperature: 15–28°C. High heat can soften PVC — coils stored near a heat source can deform or stick.
Humidity: keep cartons sealed in normal warehouse conditions; avoid prolonged damp storage.
Light: keep cartons closed. Prolonged direct UV can dull gloss and shift transparent and clear tones over time.
Coiling: store coiled on the supplied spools — do not fold or crease the strip flat.

Let coils reach room temperature before running — cold PVC is stiffer and can crack at tight curves.
Match thread tension to the strip; over-tight stitching can pucker or cut into a softer PVC profile.
Run a short trial seam on the exact strap or vamp material before bulk stitching.

The strip cracks at tight curves while stitching.

Cause: strip run cold and stiff, or forced around a curve tighter than the profile allows.
根因：条带没回温偏硬，或被强行绕过超出型材弯度的急弯。
Fix: let coils reach room temperature first; ease the strip around curves; for very tight radii, specify a narrower row count.
处理：先让卷盘回到室温；绕弯时顺势不硬拉；极小弯径改指定更窄排数。
Stitching puckers or cuts into the strip.
车缝起皱或勒进条带
Cause: thread tension too high for the PVC profile, or needle / stitch pitch mismatched.

Fix: lower the tension and widen the stitch pitch; run a trial seam on scrap strip before bulk.

Gloss looks dull compared to the sample.

Cause: prolonged UV or heat in storage, or surface film / dust on the strip.
