It's the surface everything else gets built on. But the stone field is only half of what you're buying. The other half is the bond underneath, and that bond behaves differently on every material it touches.

Crystal Mesh ships from our Pujiang factory in more than one backing format. Which one is right comes down to how you'll apply it.
水钻胶网片从浦江工厂出货,背胶不止一种规格。选哪种,关键看你怎么用。
A heat-activated, or hot-fix, backing carries a dry adhesive film. It turns tacky under heat and pressure, then sets hard as it cools. On the right materials it gives the cleanest, most permanent bond, which is why it's the usual pick for footwear and structured panels.
热熔(也叫烫钻)背胶是一层干胶膜,受热加压会变黏,冷却后定型。材料合适时,它给的粘合最干净、最持久,所以鞋类和有结构的部件一般都用它。
A pressure-sensitive backing bonds without heat. That makes it useful on materials that can't take a hot press, and for sampling or placement work before a final fix. It positions faster, but it's fussier about surface condition.
压敏(免烫)背胶不用加热就能粘,适合那些经不起热压的材料,也方便在最终固定前先打样、先定位。它定位更快,但对表面状况更挑。
Tell us how the piece gets applied and we'll match the backing to it. Ordering “Crystal Mesh” without naming the backing is the single most common reason a first sample comes back wrong.

Bonding to leather and PU
粘合皮革与 PU
Leather and PU are the easy case. They're smooth, they barely stretch, and they hold heat well, which is why footwear uppers are where Crystal Mesh performs best.
皮革和 PU 算是好对付的。表面平、几乎不拉伸、又耐热,所以鞋面是水钻胶网片发挥最好的地方。
Two things decide the bond here: surface finish and how clean it is. Heavily waxed, oiled, or silicone-finished leather fights the adhesive, and a quick clean before application makes a difference you can measure. Genuine leather also holds moisture, so a controlled press matters more than a hot one. You want enough heat and dwell to set the film without scorching the grain.
这里决定成败的就两点:表面处理和干不干净。蜡重、含油、做过硅处理的皮革会"抗胶",上件前简单清一下,效果立竿见影。真皮还含水分,所以压制讲究"控"不讲究"猛":温度和停留要够把胶膜定住,又不能把皮面烫伤。
On anything that takes load, like a sandal strap or a toe that flexes with every step, ask for a stitched edge alongside the adhesive. The glue holds the field flat; the stitch takes the strain.
凡是要受力的位置,比如凉鞋条带、每走一步都要弯的鞋头,除了背胶,再加一道车缝。胶负责把水钻面压平,缝线负责扛力。
Bonding to mesh and breathable synthetics
粘合网布与透气合成材料
Open mesh and breathable knits are the hard case. There's less solid surface for the adhesive to grab, so the bond is only ever as strong as the material between the holes.
开孔网布和透气针织是难啃的。能让背胶抓牢的实体面太少,粘合有多牢,基本就看孔与孔之间那点料。
Here a heat-activated backing usually wins. The softened film keys down into the texture instead of perching on top of it. Press against a firm, flat support so the mesh doesn't distort and the adhesive bites evenly across the piece.
这种料,热熔背胶通常更好:软化的胶膜能"咬"进纹理,而不是浮在面上。压的时候底下垫块平整、结实的支撑,网布不容易变形,受力也均匀。
When the mesh is very open or very stretchy, we'll often mount the Crystal Mesh onto a thin base layer first and attach that as one piece. It's a steadier build than wrestling the open weave directly.
要是网布特别稀、特别有弹性,我们一般会先把水钻胶网片复合到一层薄底布上,再当成一片整体上件。这比硬贴稀网稳得多。
Bonding to satin and delicate fabrics
粘合缎面与娇贵面料
Satin, charmeuse, and fine eveningwear fabrics are the opposite problem. They're heat-sensitive and they show everything. Push the heat too high and the face glazes or puckers; keep it too low and the bond won't last.
缎面、绉缎这些精细晚装面料,正好相反:既怕热、又藏不住事。温度高了,面料起极光、起皱;低了,又粘不住。
So you go lower and slower, with a protective layer between the press and the face of the fabric. Where the fabric can't take heat at all, switch to a pressure-sensitive backing. And because these fabrics drape and move, test the finished piece for flex and hand, not just peel strength. A bond that passes a pull test can still feel like cardboard on a garment that's meant to flow.
所以要放低温度、放慢节奏,压头和面料正面之间还得垫层保护。要是面料完全不能受热,就换压敏背胶。这类面料会垂、会动,成品要看的是弯折后的手感,不只是剥离强度:一块拉力测试过关的粘合,贴在本该飘逸的衣身上,可能硬得像纸板。
For bridal and eveningwear, sample on the real production fabric every time. The same Crystal Mesh can behave completely differently on two satins that look identical on the swatch card.
婚纱、晚装这类,每次都要用真正的量产面料打样。同一款水钻胶网片,贴在两块看样卡上几乎一模一样的缎面上,表现可能差很远。
Surface prep and application, in short
表面处理与上件,简言之
Whatever the base, the same handful of things decide how it turns out:
不管底材是什么,决定结果的就是这么几件事:
- Start clean and dry. Strip wax, oil, and silicone finishes first.
- Press evenly. A consistent press beats a hotter, patchier one every time.
- Give it dwell, then let it cool. The bond sets on the way down, so don't pull it off the press early.
- Support the back. Flat and firm, especially on mesh and anything stretchy.
- 先清干净、弄干:蜡、油、硅处理都先去掉。
- 压得匀:一次均匀的压,胜过又烫又花的压。
- 给够停留,再让它凉透:粘合是在降温时定型的,别急着下机。
- 背面垫稳:要平、要实,网布和有弹性的料尤其要。
Treat these as a starting point, not a recipe. The exact heat, pressure, and dwell depend on your specific backing and base, which is why every run starts with a sample approved on your own material.

What to confirm before a production run
量产前要确认什么
To get the bond right on the first sample, tell us four things:

- The base material. Leather, PU, mesh, knit, satin, or something else, with a swatch if you have one.
- How it gets applied. Hot press, hand iron, pressure-applied, or stitched and bonded.
- Where it sits. Flat decoration, a flex zone, or a strap that carries load.
- How it has to survive. Washing, dry-cleaning, or display only.
- 底材是什么:皮革、PU、网布、针织、缎面还是别的,有样布最好附一块。
- 怎么上件:热压、手熨、压敏粘贴,还是缝合加粘合。
- 贴在哪:平面装饰、要弯折的区域,还是受力的条带。
