Waste Is Usually Decided on the PO, Not on the Floor
损耗多半在订单上定，不是车间里才发生
A rhinestone order wastes material when the brief names the wrong form. You ask for a Crystal Mesh sheet, then cut a one-centimetre edge from it. The leftover is still good mesh. It is no longer a sheet your next style can use, unless that style is also a small cut from the same construction. That call sits on the purchase order. The cutting table only executes it.
水钻单浪费料，常常是规格写错了形。你要一张水钻网片，再从上面裁一条一厘米的边。剩下的还是好网。但下一款用不上，除非下一款也是同一构造上裁一小块。这事写在采购单上，裁台只是执行。
Brands talk about a sustainable rhinestone program as if the factory should simply use less. The buyer move is narrower. Name the job first: edge, panel, motif, or cord. Then buy the form that already matches it. Crystal Mesh is the foundation product, a sheet you cut. Rhinestone Diamond Lace is already a strip. A rhinestone Diamond Patch is already a die-cut. Rhinestone Diamond Rope is already a cord. PVC Strip frames the stones. It does not carry them.
品牌把少浪费说成工厂该「少用一点」。买家能改的更具体：先写活是边、是面、是图案、还是绳，再买已经对得上的形。水钻网片是基础片材，一张能裁的面。水钻条已经是条。水钻钻贴已经是冲好的片。水钻抽条已经是绳。PVC 亮条给钻描边，自己不带钻。
Buy the Form That Matches the Job
边、面、图案、绳，各买各的形
If the job is an edge, a placket, a vamp lip, a hem, order rhinestone Diamond Lace or rhinestone Diamond Rope by the metre. Don't open a Crystal Mesh sheet you will then strip down. A sheet leftover is a leftover panel. A roll leftover is a leftover length, and the next edge can still take it.
活是一条边：门襟、鞋口、下摆，按米买水钻条或水钻抽条。别开一张水钻网片再往下撕。片一剩，剩的是一整块面。卷一剩，剩的是一段长，下一条边还能接。
If the job is a panel, buy Crystal Mesh and cut the rhinestone sheet to the pattern. Don't buy a roll of rhinestone Diamond Lace and try to tile it into a field. You will spend the order joining strips and still have ends that are not a panel.
活是一块面，就买水钻网片，按版裁。别买一卷水钻条再拼成面。单子会耗在接头上，两头剩的仍不是一块面。
If the job is a motif, brief a rhinestone Diamond Patch or a rhinestone Diamond Flower. Die-cut from a sheet only when the motif is unique and you accept leftover around the knife. A standard flower or a standard patch: buy the piece, not the sheet it was cut from. A rhinestone Shoe Upper is a built vamp, not a mesh offcut you hope the shoe factory will trim. A rhinestone Bangle Diamond Sticker is a wrist strip. Don't cut it from a garment sheet.
活是一块图案，就下水钻钻贴或水钻花片。只有图案是独一的、你也接受刀周围会剩，才从片上冲。常规花、常规贴：买件，别买冲它的那张片。水钻鞋面是做好的鞋面，不是留给鞋厂去裁的网片边角。手镯水钻贴条是手腕上的条，别从衣服那张片上裁。
Size the Motif to the Material, Not the Moodboard
图案跟着料走，别跟着情绪板走
Moodboards love a spray that is wider than the usable width of the starting material. The rhinestone motif then dies on three sides of leftover that cannot take another spray. Ask for that usable width first. Nest the motif so the leftover is a usable strip, or a second motif, not a jagged frame.
情绪板爱在起始料的可用幅上，放一朵比幅还宽的花。水钻图案三边都会剩一圈，再放不下第二朵。先问可用幅宽。把图案排进去，让剩下的是一条还能用的边，或第二块图案，而不是一圈锯齿框。
Die-cut leftover is the hard kind, because the holes don't stack. A rhinestone Diamond Patch nested tight leaves a web you can still cut into smaller patches, or into Crystal Mesh offcuts for swatches. A motif dropped in the centre of a sheet leaves a donut. Donuts don't ship.
冲切剩下的最难用，洞叠不起来。水钻钻贴排紧，剩下的网还能裁成小贴，或裁成水钻网片小样。图案丢在片中央，剩下一个甜甜圈。甜甜圈发不走。
Keep stone and base colour constant across that nest. Mix a crystal AB spray next to a jet leftover on the same sheet, and both leftovers fail the next style. One construction per sheet. That is the spec.
同一张片上，钻和底色别混。水晶 AB 旁边剩一截黑色，两截下一款都用不上。一张片一种构造。这是规格。
What to Reuse vs What to Throw
哪些边角还能用，哪些该停
Leftover Crystal Mesh is usable when it is still a rectangle of the same rhinestone construction: same stone, same base, same spacing. A twenty-centimetre offcut can become a collar tip, a belt loop, a sample swatch. A triangle with two cut edges usually cannot. Don't ask the factory to use it up on a different colourway. That is how mixed-stone leftovers start.
剩下的水钻网片还能用，前提是仍是同一构造的一块矩形：同一颗钻、同一块底、同一间距。二十厘米的方还能做领尖、裤耳、手样。两边都斜切的三角通常不行。别让工厂把这块剩料用到另一个色组上。混钻边角就是这么来的。
Rhinestone Diamond Lace offcuts are usable by the metre if the construction matches the next edge job. A leftover of 0.8 m of the same lace is a strap. A mixed bag of ten-centimetre ends in three colours is scrap. Keep reorders on the same lace so the leftover pile stays one SKU.
水钻条的剩料，构造对得上下一条边，按米就能用。同款剩 0.8 米是一条鞋带。三种颜色、十厘米一段的袋子是废。返单锁同一条，剩料堆才还是一个货号。
Mixed stones are the throw pile. Once crystal, jet, and AB sit on the same leftover, you cannot put that piece on a new garment without the mix reading as a mistake. Don't brief remaining stones as fill. Brief the next order on the same construction, or close the leftover as samples and start clean.
混在一起的钻，该停。水晶、黑色、AB 已经在同一块剩料上，再上新衣服会读成配错。别写把剩下的钻用掉。下一单锁同一构造，或者把剩料收成手样，新单从干净的料起。
Write the Next Order So Offcuts Stay Usable
下一单怎么写，边角才还能接着用
Repeat the construction, not just the look. Same rhinestone, same base, same width. If season two needs a narrower edge, say so. We cut from the same Crystal Mesh or the same rhinestone Diamond Lace, rather than opening a new sheet that will leftover in a new width.
重复的是构造，不只是样子。同一颗水钻、同一块底、同一幅宽。第二季要更窄的边，写清楚。我们从同一张水钻网片或同一条水钻条上裁，而不是再开一张新幅宽的片，又剩一堆新的。
Name the form on the PO: sheet, strip, die-cut patch, rope, shoe upper, sticker, flower, PVC strip. Name the job: edge, panel, motif, cord. If those two don't match, the leftover is already decided. First runs start from USD 500. That is how we take OEM/ODM work. It is not a reason to over-order a sheet just in case.
订单上写形：片、条、冲切片、绳、鞋面、贴条、花、PVC 亮条。再写活：边、面、图案、绳。这两项对不上，损耗已经定了。首单从 500 美元起。这是我们接 OEM/ODM 的事实，不是让你以防万一多买一张片。
